4. Data retention

Website enquiries that do not result in an engagement are retained for six months and then deleted. Client matter files are retained for seven years from the conclusion of the matter, in accordance with professional requirements for legal practitioners in Thailand. After that period, files are securely destroyed.

All digital files are stored in encrypted systems with access limited to staff working on each matter. Physical documents are kept in a locked document room. We use secure channels for all document transfers and do not transmit personal data by unencrypted email where alternatives are available.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, where required by applicable law.
