Three services, clearly described
Each service has a defined scope, a written process, and a fixed fee. Nothing begins without a clear agreement on all three.

How we work across all three services
Each service at ruamjaia Law follows the same underlying principle: that both parties should have equal access to information throughout the process, that nothing should be agreed under time pressure, and that the final document should say clearly what it means.
Before any work begins, we provide a written engagement agreement that defines the scope, the fee, and the process. This is signed by all parties — and it means that when the work is done, everyone involved knows exactly what they agreed to.
Written engagement before work begins

Equal information for both parties

Service 01
Pre-marriage Agreement Drafting
฿ 4,200 — fixed fee, full scope
A patient service for couples who would like a written agreement in place before marriage — often because of family-owned assets, prior children, or a wish to clarify expectations at an early stage. The work begins with a calm joint conversation about the points the couple would like to record, followed by drafting that uses the couple's own language wherever possible.
Each draft is shared with both partners for separate review before any further step is taken, so neither partner is asked to read it for the first time at the moment of signing.
What is included:
- Initial joint consultation (scope and approach)
- One draft agreement, reviewed and revised as needed
- Separate review period for each party
- Final execution meeting and signing
- Certified copies for both parties
Process steps:
- 1Joint intake conversation — what each party wishes to address
- 2First draft prepared and shared simultaneously with both parties
- 3Each party reviews separately and submits questions or notes
- 4Revised draft circulated; further review if needed
- 5Execution meeting at which both parties sign
Typical timeline: 3–4 weeks from first consultation

Service 02
Property Division Mediation
฿ 10,500 — fixed fee, full scope
A focused mediation service for couples who are separating and would like the division of their property handled through structured conversation rather than contested proceedings. The work covers preparation of a complete household inventory, drafting of options for division, hosting of the mediation sessions themselves, and drafting of the agreed terms into a clear written settlement.
Each conversation is recorded in writing afterwards, so the couple may reflect on it calmly at home before the next session takes place.
What is included:
- Preparation of a complete household inventory
- Drafting of division options for consideration before sessions
- Mediation sessions (typically 2–4, depending on complexity)
- Written record after each session, shared with both parties
- Final settlement agreement drafted and executed
Process steps:
- 1Separate intake meetings with each party to gather asset information
- 2Household inventory prepared and shared with both parties
- 3Division options drafted and circulated for review
- 4Joint mediation sessions with written records after each
- 5Settlement agreement drafted and signed when ready
Typical timeline: 4–8 weeks, depending on number of sessions

Post-divorce Financial Review
฿ 15,000 — fixed fee, full scope
A coordinated service for clients whose divorce has been concluded but who would like an unhurried review of how the agreed financial arrangements are working in practice. The work covers a written assessment of the current household position, identification of any clauses in the original settlement that may now need revisiting, and drafting of any short-form variation that both parties may wish to consider.
The aim is to support a calm long-term arrangement, not to reopen settled questions where the existing terms continue to work for both households.
What is included:
- Written assessment of the current household financial position
- Review of the original settlement terms against current circumstances
- Identification of clauses that may benefit from revision
- Short-form variation document drafted if required
- Written summary of findings shared with the client
Process steps:
- 1Initial consultation to understand what has changed since the settlement
- 2Review of the original settlement document and related records
- 3Written assessment prepared and shared
- 4Follow-up consultation to discuss findings and options
- 5Variation document drafted if both parties wish to proceed
Typical timeline: 2–3 weeks from first consultation

Standards we follow
Protocols across all services
Data security
All files are stored in encrypted systems with access limited to staff working directly on each matter. Document transfers use secure channels only.
Legal compliance
All agreements are drafted to be enforceable under the Thai Civil and Commercial Code. We advise when additional steps are needed for international applicability.
Neutral facilitation
In mediation matters, our role is neutral. We do not advise either party on strategy and maintain that position throughout. Both parties know this from the first session.
Document review
Every draft produced by one attorney is reviewed by a second team member before it is shared with clients. This applies to all three services.
Fee transparency
The fee for each service is fixed and agreed in writing before work begins. There are no hourly charges and no additional costs within the defined scope.
Equal communication
In two-party matters, written communications go to both parties simultaneously. Neither party should receive information about the process that the other has not also received.
